Lucky me! She even gave me the pot the miniature rose was in. I stopped off at IKEA on the way home to buy pots for the other rose bushes. My gardening has been pretty minimal since I moved almost two years ago. It took me a while to dig up my roses and other flowers, but they're finally all potted now. I gave all of the roses a deep pruning.
From left to right, the roses Nikki gave me are: Snowbird, Fame, Portland from Glendora, Tiffany, and an unnamed miniature rose bush that she said resembles St. Patrick.
The Snowbird is a climber and I'm hoping to train it along the brick wall.
I finally got around to setting up my backyard table and umbrella. I can't wait until the roses are all in bloom and my little space will be a fragrant place for me to sit in the late afternoon.
Thanks again Nikki Polani!
